Serial data and protocol analyzer that spies on a serial port while a communications application is running. Features scripted protocol decodes for TCP/IP, PPP, and SLIP. Compatible with Windows 9x,Me,NT,2000.
Extensive Filter and Find capabilities reduce time to analyze protocols. Timestamp resolution to under 1 microsecond. Capture to buffer / unlimited disk file. Views include Frame, Event, Signals, and Statistics. Source mode adds Transmit view; send file or string. Supports baud rates to 115.2 Kbps. Cables are NOT required or supplied.
Includes Quatech DSC-100 two port PCI card with two RS-232 ports using 16750 UARTs having 64-byte FIFOs. Card supports baud rates to 921.6 Kbps. Card comes with two DB-9 Male connectors on card edge.
If you need to connect to external communications equipment, you should consider ViewComm Async Plus.
