RS-422/485 Serial PCI Card:
DSC-200/300 Two Port

  • Uses 16750 UARTs
  • 64-byte FIFOs

Quatech RS-422/485 asynchronous serial PCI boards are an ideal solution for adding additional ports to a wide variety of systems.

The ports are jumper configurable for either RS-422 or RS-485 in any combination for full and half duplex use.

PCI registers are properly implemented to assure that Plug and Play works reliably, and that the board will not cause PCI bus conflicts.

For high performance is heavy multitasking environments, this card is implemented with 16750 UARTs containing 64-byte FIFOs.

This along with Quatech's special clock-multiplying feature enables data transfer rates as high as 921.6 kbps.

A four-layer board design is used to ensure maximum signal integrity.

Note the availability of an "IND" model which features onboard surge suppressors.
